The Center for Work and Democracy hosts a number of events each year to promote scholarship that supports our mission and that seeks to build a community of scholars, activists and organizers interested in advancing democracy, equity, and the power of working people.

Conference on Worker Power and Economic Democracy
At our Conference on Worker Power and Economic Democracy, academics, organizers, and activists alike shared ideas and strategies for labor movement renewal and for building economic democracy through worker cooperatives. You can watch clips from many of these speakers on our YouTube channel.
In February of 2024, the Center for Work and Democracy hosted dozens of scholars, activists, and organizers on ASU's Tempe campus to discuss the future of worker power and economic democracy in the United States.
