BOOK LAUNCH: "After Black Lives Matter: Policing and Anti-Capitalist Struggle"

On April 11th, the Center for Work and Democracy will be hosting a book launch for Cedric Johnson’s forthcoming book, After Black Lives Matter Policing and Anti-Capitalist Struggle (Verso, 2023). Cedric Johnson is a professor of Political Science and African American Studies at the University of Chicago, Illinois, and the author of The Panthers Can’t Save Us Now (Verso, 2022), and Revolutionaries to Race Leaders: Black Power and the Making of African American Politics (University of Minnesota Press, 2007).
