Building a community

One center, endless impact

The Center for Work and Democracy hosts a number of events each year to promote scholarship that supports our mission and that seeks to build a community of scholars, activists and organizers interested in advancing democracy, equity, and the power of working people.

In February of 2024, the Center for Work and Democracy hosted dozens of scholars, activists, and organizers on ASU's Tempe campus to discuss the future of worker power and economic democracy in the United States.

Thanks to documentarian Kiley Kraskouskas and her amazing team, you can learn more about the conference, its attendees, and the CWD in this short film.
